Fall is my personal favorite time of the year. How about yours? I recently did a post and a giveaway on my real estate Facebook page that asked my viewers what their favorite part of fall was.
Packers Win In Last Second Field Goal
So...are you a football fan? Packers? Vikings? Cowboys? No one?
The answer to the above question really does not matter. What matters, is the fact that last night, any American Football fan that was watching the Packers vs. Cowboys divisional round playoff game at Jerry's World (AT&T Stadium, Irving, TX, home of the Dallas Cowboys) was treated to one of those rare special moments in history. The Green Bay Packers came out on top with a 34-31 victory.
Over the course of the past two weekends, the NFL playoff football has been lackluster at best (in terms of closeness of games, don't get me wrong, there were some spectacular plays and scoring outbursts) but that was put to rest last evening. Finally, a game that was worth the average fan watching (of course the diehards watch regardless). Every element of excitement that a casual fan could ask for was in this game. Amazing catches, exciting runs, clutch kicks, it had it all.
Some say the NFL has been struggling with its viewership this season. I do not have a stance at the moment on that. However, if the NFL was in desperate need of an entertaining playoff game, it got what it needed last night and will continue to hook new and old fans, and keep them curious for next weekend.
